NTA prepares the UGC NET result by following the step-by-step procedure mentioned below:
Step 1: The number of candidates to be qualified for the exam should be equal to six per cent of the candidates appearing in both the papers of UGC NET.
Step 2: Total slots are allocated to different categories as per the reservation policy of Government of India.
Step 3: In order to be considered for ‘JRF and eligibility for Assistant Professor’ or ‘eligibility for Assistant Professor only’, candidates must appear for both paper-I and -II and score the minimum qualifying marks as mentioned below:
