A high-level meeting of Chief Minister Vijay Rupani and Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel was held, which reviewed the health situation in the state.
Giving details of the meeting, Chief Secretary Anil Mukim and Principal Secretary of Health Department Dr. Jayanthi Ravi said that the state government has taken several important decisions in view of the vigilance of Corona virus in Gujarat and the awareness.
Educational work in school-colleges and educational institutions in the state will be closed for two weeks from Monday.
At the same time, the board examinations that are going on at present will remain unchanged. Cinema houses and swimming pools in the state will also be closed. Spitting in public places has also been banned in the state. Not only this, if a person is caught spitting in an open place, the local body will charge a fine of Rs 500 from it.
The state government has appealed to all religious places and communities not to conduct any religious program for two weeks.
